What dark secret is LeBron James hiding as he recovers miraculously from potential season-ending injury?

LeBron James suffered a right foot tendon injury on Feb. 26 against the Dallas Mavericks. There were fears among LA Lakers fans that James could be out for the rest of the regular season. However, “The King” returned exactly a month later on Mar. 26 against the Chicago Bulls.

So, how did James recover from his potentially season-ending injury so quickly? There was speculation that the four-time NBA champ used performance-enhancing drugs to help his recovery. Former UFC fighter Chael Sonnen claimed that James is on PEDs, and they have the same supplier.

“We have the same drug guy,” Sonnen said on the ‘Flagrant’ podcast earlier this month. “I know exactly what he’s doing. EPO (Erythropoietin) matters; it’s the reason LeBron takes it. It matters. EPO increases your red blood cells, which gives you the endurance to play all game long.”

Sonnen’s claims, of course, have not been confirmed. He’s one of the most colorful personalities in mixed martial arts and is known for making crazy statements. He might have the same source as ButtCrack Sports on Twitter, which reported that LeBron James was suspended for PEDs.

Nevertheless, there were reports that James underwent a secret procedure or treatment in Germany. Forbes’ Landon Buford reported that the LA Lakers superstar recently traveled to Germany to undergo platelet-rich plasma therapy on his injured right foot.

If you’re familiar with the term, it’s the same procedure Kobe Bryant underwent from 2011 to 2013 for his injured knee. It’s not prohibited in the United States, but Germany is the place to go for it.

Dennis Schroder hinted a couple of weeks ago that LeBron James went to Germany to undergo a procedure on his injured right foot. He told reporters that he couldn’t say anything about what happened but praised German doctors.

“I know I can’t say too much, but German doctors are great,” Schroder said. “That’s all I’m saying.”

When James returned to the lineup last Sunday, he was asked about his recovery. He revealed that he tore one of his tendons on his foot, and two doctors advised him to get surgery.

However, “The King” went to the “LeBron James of feet” to get a third opinion. Fortunately for him, the third doctor told him that he did not need surgery. He was also told that he healed from the injury quicker than anyone they have ever seen.
