The Damian Lillard era in Portland is over.
On Wednesday, the Trail Blazers finally pulled the trigger on a deal, sending the best player in franchise history to the Milwaukee Bucks. The three-team deal also involving the Phoenix Suns, netted the Blazers Jrue Holiday, Deandre Ayton, and draft capital, with the expectations that Holiday will also be flipped to a contender for even more pieces. For Dame, he now gets to play with the best player he’s ever played with while the Blazers are now officially Scoot Henderson’s team. And for the Miami Heat… well, it’s back to the drawing board for Pat Riley and the rest of the front office in South Beach.
Which brings us to today’s quiz of the day. Last season, Lillard put up arguably the best season of his career averaging a career-high and Portland franchise-record 32.2 points-per-game. So with that in mind, how many of the players with the highest single-season points-per-game average for every NBA franchise can you name in five minutes?
