No. 3 ranked bantamweight contender Stephen Loman will have his eyes locked on ONE Fight Night 7 on Prime Video main event on February 25.

Emanating from the legendary Lumpinee Stadium in Thailand, the stacked lineup will be headlined by a ONE bantamweight world championship rematch pitting No. 1 ranked contender Fabricio Andrade against the No. 2 ranked and former world titleholder, John Lineker.

In an interview with The MMA Superfan, Loman believes Andrade can walk away with 26.4 pounds of gold if he sticks to the same game plan he implemented in their first meeting at ONE on Prime Video 3.

“I think Fabricio Andrade just needs to do a repeat performance of what he did in their first fight. I think he can do it again, and he will dominate Lineker again to finally get the win in this matchup. I can see him using his reach, his striking, and also his ring generalship. If Lineker charges in, he will just throw the knee down the middle. That’s his style.”

With his win over Bibiano Fernandes in November, Stephen Loman has established himself as someone who could be next in line for a ONE bantamweight world title opportunity.

Fans in North America can tune in live and for free as long as they have an existing subscription to Prime Video.

Fabricio Andrade is unimpressed with Stephen Loman’s wins in ONE Championship

Stephen Loman has earned three big wins since signing with ONE Championship in 2021, the biggest coming against ONE legend and former bantamweight world champion Bibiano Fernandes. That victory was enough to put Loman in pole position for a potential world title shot, but the division’s top-ranked contender is far from impressed with Loman’s resume.

Speaking with ONE Championship, Fabricio Andrade downplayed Loman’s undefeated run inside the Circle, claiming that he only fights aging icons rather than fighters in their prime.

“He’s fought veterans, hey. He hasn’t fought nobody near their prime. Saadulaev? Come on man, the guy’s near the end of his career, you know. Shoko Sato he’s still tough, but also near the end of his career. Now Bibiano. That’s what I’m trying to explain to you, you know.”

Despite being skeptical of Stephen Loman’s victories inside the Circle, Fabricio Andrade recognizes that he could be the next man in line for a title opportunity, and ‘Wonder Boy’ will be more than ready to defend the title should he get past John Lineker at ONE Fight Night 7.
