Bronny James has not played a single game of college basketball, but he’s already earning a ton as he leads the way in NIL space. Due to this, fans quickly shared their reactions to Bronny being the top earner despite him still being a senior in high school.

Being the son of LeBron James, Bronny has the status to be pursued by brands and use his likeness to endorse their companies. Among all the high schoolers, he comes out on top in terms of NIL earnings. The surprising thing is, he’s also the top earning among college students, with $7.2 million.

With this, fans quickly took to Twitter to share their reactions regarding Bronny being the highest NIL earner. Here are some of the best fan reactions to his achievements.

@LegionHoops @boardroom And if his last name wasn’t James he would be going to college at a junior college and not earned a thing, that isn’t hating on this kid that’s the truth

@LegionHoops @boardroom I can sleep better at night knowing Bronny is no longer struggling and he’s being taken care of

No one knows for sure what the next step is for Bronny. It’s possible that he could continue his career in college. He’s received offers from various schools, but hasn’t given an update on what he’ll do next. Of course, he still has an option to enter the G-League or have a professional career overseas. But considering how big he is in the country right now, it’s likely he’ll stay put here.

Pursuing a college career is one of the many options that Bronny James can do after his senior year in high school. Even Phoenix Suns star Kevin Durant would want LeBron’s son to enter college, even if it’s just for a year. However, the answer to that depends solely on Bronny.

Luca Evans of the Los Angeles Times had a chance to interview him earlier this year. In the interview, Bronny was able to share the schools that have been on his radar if he ever decides to enter college.

“According to a person with knowledge of the situation not authorized to speak publicly, James will make a decision on his college commitment after the season,” Evans wrote. “His top three schools are Ohio State — his father’s favorite — USC and Oregon.”

According to sources, the three colleges that were mentioned aren’t the finalists. A dark horse school could emerge and give the three schools a hard time at getting the talent.

Being from Ohio, it’s only logical for Bronny to consider Ohio State as a destination for him as he enters college. His father, on the other hand, would probably want his son close. Which is why he probably wants him to attend the University of Southern California.
